Meet the Cabinet
Administration Team

Neha Kohli
Chief of Staff
Neha Kohli is a senior at Bethesda Chevy Chase High School. At B-CC, she leads the Minority Scholars Program, and is Community Outreach Director for the SGA. She also leads Youth For Equity and is Special Elections Deputy for MCR-SGA. Her goal for the SAC is to promote anti-racism and equity for students with disabilities in MCPS schools. When not working on the SAC, you can find her dancing with her POMs team or practicing violin.

Blen Yohannes
Chief of Staff
Blen Yohannes is a senior at Albert Einstein High School. At Einstein, she is a member of the black student union, ACES, student leadership team, and key club. Her goal on the SAC this year is to work towards ensuring all students throughout the county have access to enrichment opportunities. When she's not working with the SAC, you can find her lost in her books or exploring new areas with friends.

Alex Nguyen
Policy Director
Alex Nguyen is a senior at Springbrook High School. At Springbrook, he's either working in his SGA as the President or in his organization, MoCo ConNECts. His goal on the SAC this year is to amplify the voices of underrepresented students in not just the Northeast Consortium but in other regions when it comes to countywide advocacy. Outside of school, he'll usually be listening to new songs on Spotify (go Olivia Rodrigo!) or watching Pixar movies.

Ilana Levine
Secretary
Ilana LeVine is a junior at Magruder High School. She's a member of the debate team, the mock trial team, and is President of Magruder's chapter of MoCo for Change. This year on the SAC she wants to help create more equitable access to opportunities and emphasize student's mental health as we return to school. Aside from the SAC, she can be found listening to music or hunting down used book stores.

Ashley Morales
Logistics
Ashley Morales is a senior at Gaithersburg High School. She currently serves as Gaithersburg’s SGA President and is also involved in field hockey, MSP and NHS. This year in SAC, Ashley hopes to extend Hana’s audience and host fun, interactive, accessible and educational events for all students! Away from the advocacy world, you can see Ashley, playing her alto saxophone and marching with the band!

Noah Pinson
Logistics
Noah Pinson is a senior at Quince Orchard High School. In addition to the SAC, Noah is involved with his school's SGA, MCR, InnovateX and various other advocacy organizations. This year, his goal is to increase representation and uplift the voices of all students of Montgomery County Public Schools. Outside of the SAC, Noah enjoys traveling and playing volleyball.

Ruhama Endishaw
Logistics
Ruhama Endishaw (she/they) is a Junior at Springbrook High School! Besides being a part of the logistics team, they are a Co-Founder of MoCo ConNECts, Springbrook SGA secretary, and Brook4Change Co-President. Her main goal in the SAC this year is to increase accessibility and engagement in student advocacy from communities that have previously not been able to. In their free time, she enjoys going out with friends and reading.

Andrew Chung
Video Editor
Andrew Chung is a junior at Northwest High School. At NW, he is a member of the morning broadcast team – Jag TV, boy’s lacrosse teams, and other clubs. His goal on the SAC Communications team this year is to help share information from the council directly to the students in an informative and attentive way. Besides work, you’ll find him traveling the world or enjoying his time at the beach.

Ellie Montemayor
Video Editor
Ellie Montemayor is a junior at Walter Johnson High School and one of this year's SAC video editors. She is the co-president of WJ's Science Olympiad team and the senior A&E editor in the school's student newspaper; outside of WJ, Ellie is knee-deep in applied physics research with Montgomery College and UMCP. You can often find her playing the guitar badly or stressing over what color palette to use for her color-coded spreadsheets.

Steven Dang
Web Designer
Steven Dang is a junior at Wheaton High School. He participates in his school's SGA, NHS, Photography Club, DECA, and XC and Track. His goal on SAC this year is to provide information and opportunities relating to student advocacy through the media and website. When he's not working in SAC, he is probably getting push ups by his coach.

Siena Sydenham
Historian
Siena Sydenham is a freshman at Richard Montgomery High School. In middle school she enjoyed participating on the Science Olympiad Team and the peer tutoring program. This year she’s hoping everyone will be able to see what Hana and the board are up to. Outside of school, she is either practicing at her Irish Dance Studio or volunteering at a therapeutic riding barn.

Quynhan Nguyen
Graphic Designer
Quynhan Nguyen (they/she) is a junior at Blake High School. In addition to being a graphic designer in the SAC, they are a co-founder of MoCo ConNECts, a member of MCPS’ Special Elections Committee, and President of Blake Students for Change. One of Quynhan’s many goals in the SAC is the sharpen her graphic design skills and convey information effectively. In their free time, they love to explore fashion and read books

Katelyn Moon
Graphic Designer
Katelyn Moon is a senior at Winston Churchill High School. She enjoys being involved in several countywide student advocacy organizations, music clubs, and fine art. This year, she hopes to help expand access to SMOB and student advocacy information through digital media. Outside of the SAC, you can find her playing electric guitar or spending time with friends and family.

Julianne Cruz
Graphic Designer
Julianne Cruz is a junior at Richard Montgomery high school, where she is a member of its DECA chapter as well as a graphic designer for its newspaper, The RM Tide. While working with the SAC, she hopes to ensure effective communication between SAC members and the rest of the Montgomery County student body. Outside of the SAC, she enjoys writing and spending too much time playing Genshin Impact.

Charles Wang
Graphic Designer
Charles Wang is a senior at Walter Johnson High School. He has a strong passion for STEM and participates in WJ’s Science Olympiad team and physics club. Some of his hobbies include swimming, music, jailbreaking, and of course, wasting time on reading brand identity guidelines. Charles’ goal on the Cabinet this year is to work on creating informative, clear, and unique graphics that stand out.

Vivian Rost-Nasshan
Downcounty Consortium
A senior at Wheaton High School, Vivian Rost-Nasshan is actively involved in her school’s Field Hockey and Lacrosse teams as well as the Society of Women Engineers. On the SAC this year, Vivian hopes to increase the Down-County Consortium’s involvement with county-wide initiatives. Vivian will work with her partner, Baba, to foster communication between DCC SGAs and the SMOB. When she’s not working with the SAC, Vivian will probably be seen with her nose in a book.

Ibrahima Cisse
Downcounty Consortium
Baba Cisse is a junior at Albert Einstein High School. At Einstein, he is a proud member of SGA, and the cross country and track team. His goal this year in SAC is to help ease transitions back to normalcy in schools and bring students more support with classes and mental health. When he’s not working on SAC, you can find him submersed in a new book or outside running.

Navya Koganti

Navya Koganti is a sophomore at Clarksburg High school. At Clarksburg, she is the president of medlife, a member of the debate team, hosa, UNICEF, innovateX,naach, and MSP. Her goal on Hana's board is to inform middle school and high schoolers on what's going on in MCPS and make sure students' voices are heard. In her free time, she is watching grey's anatomy and hiking.

Aarushi Gupta
Upcounty
Aarushi Gupta, a junior at Poolesville High School, where she takes part in UNICEF, Red Cross, Debate, and more. She loves to read and enjoys various service opportunities. Her highest objective for this school year is to further the outreach of SAC's communication and advocacy topics so all students are represented and informed. She is excited to take on the role as Upcounty Liaison!

Gabriella Chaurand
Upper Central County
Gabriella Chaurand is a junior at Gaithersburg High School. At GHS, Gabi is Secretary of her schools’ Minority Scholars Program, Meeting Coordinator of Gaithersburg for Change, member of the symphonic orchestra and the girls’ varsity soccer team. Her goal on the SAC is to help students become aware of the issues facing our schools through student-led town halls. When she is not working with the SAC, she is either drawing or playing Scrabble with her mother.

Keana Simon
Upper Central County
Keana Simon is a Rising Junior at the Virtual academy & Magruder High School. In her school, she is a part of the debate team, Minority Scholars program, and National English Honors society. She aims to reform public school education so it's more relevant and engaging and closing the opportunity gap. In her free time, she enjoys watching period dramas and writing short stories.

Mauricio Quintero-Aviles
Lower North County
Mauricio Quintero-Aviles is a Junior at NorthWest High School. Some of His hobbies include cooking, baking and exploring hiking trails. One of his goals on the SAC this year is to increase advocacy from underrepresented parts of his cluster. Other than working with the SAC, Mauricio is one of the lead organizers for STEPS-Students Towards Equitable Public Schools and has dedicated himself to supporting redistricting.

Chase Pasekoff
Lower North County
Chase Pasekoff is a sophomore at Quince Orchard High School. He is excited to be a part of the SAC this year as one of the cluster liaisons. Through the SAC, he hopes to promote student advocacy to ensure that every student has the opportunity to have their voice be heard. At QO, he is a part of the SGA, cross country team, and theatre. In his free time, he enjoys playing piano and writing.

Allyson Bennett
West County
Allyson Bennett (she/they) is a West county liaison and a senior at Bethesda Chevy-Chase high school. At BCC, she is involved in theater and Youth for Equity. They are also involved in STEPS, lead the gender equity and sexual misconduct advocacy task force with MCR, and are a counselor at Calleva. Her goal with the SAC is to increase student advocacy involvement at the middle school level and to increase awareness of local politics. In their free time, they like to watch TikToks and explore the woods.

Gabriella del Rio
West County
Gabriella del Rio is a junior at Walt Whitman High School. At Whitman, she is a member of the Black Student Union, Minority Scholarship Program and track and cross country team. She will work as the Cluster Liaison for West County during the 2021-2022 school year. Her goal is to encourage students to take action within their cluster and become more knowledgeable about issues in Montgomery County and what they can do to help. When she is not working with the SMOB, you can find her running, cooking or spending time with friends and family.

Tammy Keselman
Central County
Tammy Keselman is a senior at Wootton High School. She is an avid member of the Wootton Arts program, debate team, and various student activism clubs. Tammy's goal this year with the SAC is adapting student life and curriculums to be as inclusive and accommodating as possible towards every member of the student body. In her spare time, Tammy can be found binging New Girl or listening to podcasts.

Rose Gottschalk
Central County
Rose Gottschalk is a senior at Sherwood High School. This will be her sixth year being a student representative; she also plays field hockey for Sherwood and is President of Sherwood’s Jewish Student Union for the third year. She strives to help every student in MCPS by helping to give every student in MCPS a voice. She is always on the run, literally and figuratively, and she loves binge watching Criminal Minds.
